Image Licensing & Permissions
The photographs and illustrations across this guide were commissioned and produced for Discover Eastover. This page sets out who owns them, what may be done with them, and how to acquire a license for any use beyond viewing them here.
Ownership
All photography, illustration, mapping graphics, and composite imagery published on eastovercharlotte.com is owned or exclusively controlled by Discover Eastover. Copyright is reserved in every jurisdiction, and no image enters the public domain by virtue of being published here.
Permitted use
Images may be displayed only as they appear within these pages. Framing, hotlinking, embedding into another site or application, scraping for dataset construction, and use as training data for generative models are all withheld and expressly reserved.
Requesting a license
License requests are reviewed individually. Include the page URL, the image file name, the intended placement, the audience size, the geography, and the license term you need so that the request can be answered without a second round of questions.
Credit and attribution
Where a license is granted, the credit line reads "Discover Eastover" and must sit adjacent to the image or, where that is impractical, within the credits of the work. Credit does not substitute for a license.
Takedown
Unlicensed use is handled through the copyright policy, which sets out the notice format and the response window for removal.
License requests may be directed to any of the firms on our contact page. See also the copyright and takedown policy and the legal center.
