Eastover's lack of internal commerce is a feature, not an inconvenience — provided you know which of the three surrounding districts handles which errand.

The three districts

Everyday to occasion, in order of distance.

Cotswold Village Shops (5 min)
The workhorse: grocery, pharmacy, hardware, dry cleaning, wine, and a handful of good casual restaurants. This is the daily-errand district.
Park Road Shopping Center (10 min)
Charlotte's oldest center, and still one of its best. Trader Joe's, independent boutiques, long-running restaurants, and the Manor Theatre.
SouthPark (12 min)
Neiman Marcus, luxury boutiques, Phillips Place, and the surrounding office and hotel district. Where the occasion shopping happens.
Metropolitan & Midtown (6 min)
Big-box convenience — home goods, sporting goods, pet supply — directly on the Little Sugar Creek Greenway.
Uptown & South End (10–15 min)
Design showrooms, galleries, and specialty retail for renovation and furnishing projects.
An upscale open-air shopping district with landscaped walkways
Twelve minutes south of Eastover, SouthPark anchors luxury retail for the Carolinas.
